The story behind

1Crumble the cake into a bowl and mix with cream cheese until you have a malleable dough.

2Roll into uniform spheres and one heart shape, as seen at the top of the image.

3Insert wooden sticks into each ball and refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up.

4Dip each pop into the melted chocolate until fully coated.

5While the chocolate is still wet, decorate with nonpareils, stars, or sprinkles following the designs in the photograph.

6Let them dry upright or on a white plate until the coating is completely solid.
